The bar is an ideal place to finish after a good hearty walk where you can enjoy a drink and discuss your days adventures in front of open fires (seasonal) or on the veranda during those warmer months.
Bar opening hours are 11am - 11pm (10.30pm on Sundays) - with food served 12pm - 2pm & 6.30pm - 9pm daily. A sample menu can be viewed here.

Riverside Bar is directly beside the Scafell Hotel and offers
a range of real ales (Theakston Best, XB & Old Peculiar
& during high season a selection of guest ales), fine malts (
we have 60 + to choose from), good bar food menu with regular
specials and proper Cumbrian 'crack'.
